I installed an old ntbt Bart 2 band preamp in a bass, played for a minute and then heard a loud "pop" through the amp and the ntbt would not work, rechecked the wiring diagram, pots, wires, etc but it would not emit any sound. Never had that happen before. What happened? The pots still work in other applications, amp works great, the battery checks fine, so....I cut off the wires and threw it away. But still I wonder what happened? |
