A couple of months ago I ordered a set of Bartolini CBJS Long/Long pups from the Perfect Bass to replace the stock pups in my Yamaha BR5, which I was given 10 years ago and has been relatively unused. Brandt at the Perfect Bass just got back to me saying they were on the way and the people at Bartolini told him it was the first set of CBJS Long/Longs they had ever made. I found that a bit interesting.
I can't wait for them to get here.
BTW Brandt was super cool and helpful during the entire process. He said 8 weeks or more and after 8 weeks he told me Bartolini had no ETA on the order. I contacted another distributor and found they had a set of Long/Long but not CBJS but couldn't order them until the other order was cancelled. Brandt started working on it for me when Bartolini contacted him to tell him they were made and on their way. |
