Bart MK1 help needed

Sign in to disble this ad
I have installed two Bart MK1 pickups and a Bart MK1 preamp (purchased seperately, used) in a project that I am working on. I wired it up, but I am not getting any output at all. I believe the preamp came out of a Lakland 5501, which has a slightly different configuration from the Cort JP, which is the diagram that I found online and followed. Does anyone have a diagram for the 5501 or other bass that uses the same system, or could you direct me to such a diagram online? (For reference purposes, violet wire that the Cort diagram shows to be connected to the postive off the bridge pickup seems to have been connected to a ground on the preamp...could this be correct?)

Do you get any hum when you touch any of the wires when it's plugged in?

No, none at all, in either active or passive mood. That is part of what has me confused. I just rechecked the wiring to the diagram and everything is connected properly.
