it says volume/volume on the stacked pot but when i wired it in series the way it says it seems the pot turned into a tone/tone. when i turn them to the middle it changes my tone slightly and i get a minor hiss. when i turn both (individually) all the ways to the left or to the right neither of them cut out like a volume knob should but the hiss is gone. did i miss somthing?

the schematics they gave me suck, it shows treble, bass, mid, volume thena blend. i have 3 pots here, mid, stacked treb/bass, and supposedly a volume/volume pot. in the schematics they show the blend which looks like the volume stack. is this supposed to be blend/blend and not volume?
