Bart TCT info please??

I've got a bart tct preamp I would like to use for a custom build. I've found a wiring diagram on the Bart site but I'm not sure if it is the right one. Here it is..http://www.bartolini.net/1_wirngs/tct_w01.htm The diagram shows a seperate mid control, where can I get a standalone mid control? Does anyone have a good 2 band diagram they can share? Also I will be winding my own pups for this bass so I'm wondering what resistance would work best for this pre? The pups that the pre was previously mated to had around 3.5k so I'm guessing that the pre adds a significant amount of gain. Thanks in advance!

Personally I wouldn't mess with the TCT. Had several of them and there was nothing they had over the current Bart pres. Plus pre's over about 10 years old are inclined to go south so probability is you'll be looking at replacing it anyway.

As for the pups, I wired different pups with the TCT and like the new Bart pre's, they worked fine with everything I ran to them. Most Bart pre's (new and old) have an inernal gain trim pot - if not there's no reason I'm aware you can't put one in yourself. The older Barts tended to be comparatively low output and were pretty much intended to be used with a pre.
