Bartolini 8S versus 8CB's

I love the passive 8S Bartolini's that I have in my basses. Thought I'd like to try the 8CB series in one, just for a tonal change, and hope it's a change that I'll like. Any users of both out there, who can give some input on sound differences, at all?? I went the EMG active route for a while, but they are not really my sound. To much 80's rock sounding to me. The 8S Bartolini's ARE my sound. Love them, but always like to try something new. Enlighten me, please.
