Question Bartolini or EMG @ Montréal

Sign in to disble this ad
I was in doubt on posting at pickups or at misc, so pls move if necessary.

I'm going to Montreal next wednesday and was thinking about a pickup upgrade.

I did a search on google but couldn't find any place that offers it. In fact the 2 music shops I've found simply ignored my emails.

Does anybody knows whre I can find a decent pickup dealer at Montréal area? Decent to the point of having EMG's 45TW or barts XXM56C

Thanks a lot in advance

It' difficult to have specific kind of pickup, usually in the store in montreal they order them from other website...

but give a try with these 3:

ItalMélodie : (give a call to Léon at the Bass Departement ) it's Jean-talon (near the jean-talon market... a bit North of downtown)

and Steve Music (chinese quarter)

Archambault Music, downtown (Berri and Ste-Catherine)

these are the biggest i think.

Good luck!

That's the problem... I sent Steve's and Italmélodie an email asking about the models and their stock and they simply ignored me.
I could have pre-ordered the pickups and get in stoee...

I'll check them anyway when I arrive.

tks Piedro

yeah, i don't think email are really effective at these shop... these guys are probably too busy to look at these things... try to call them (since you're in Rio ( lucky guy!!! ) maybe call them using Skype for less bucks!

good luck! can i ask you the reason of your trip to Montréal?

I'm going there beacuse my company is moving some services to our Montréal office. I'll babysit them for a week to be sure that everything is working fine.

Since I'll work from 5PM to midnight I'll have almost the whole day free to walk around. i'll have plenty of time to check these shops.
