Question Bartolini M4 (soapbar)

Has anyone tried these pickups before? I was thinking about getting one as a replacement for the EMG 40DC in my Modulus.

The MK1-4's?

If those are what you are talking about. I heard they sound muted but have well defined lows and low mids.

I think it's just M4, although I could be wrong. They are made as a replacement for the EMG 40DC pickup
