Bartolini M56CBC vs. EMG 45CS opinions?

I was thinking about replacing the pickups on my bass but i don't know which pickups to choose? My bass is a Spector Euro Lx 6 and i think the sound is a little too bright (it may be the strings so ill give the decision a few weeks time). I've heard that the EMG CS's are more dark and bassy than the DCs so i originally planned on getting them but bartolini also has pickups that would fit the existing route and i have yet to hear complaints about their pickups but i haven't heard anything about this specific model.
I just want some opinions on either model pickup. I think i would have to change the preamp in order to use the Barts but im cool with that.

You won't hear much sonic difference between CS and DC. I would say CS a bit less harsh and a bit less output. YMMV
