Question Bartolini MK1 Preamp Frequency Centers

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi TBers,

I searched the forum, but could not find the frequency centers of Bartolini MK1 preamp's frequency centers.
On bartolini.net, there's no info, either.
Then I e-mailed Kirk @ Lakland on Thursday, but there's no answer, I'm still waiting.

Does anybody here know the centers?

wow good answer!
a little off topic but...
Do you know if bartolini MK1's (in lakland 55-01) are single coils or humbuckers?

Thanks, I have to say I linked to the Ibanez web site for the graph.

I have an Ibanez SR600, and I understand that my Mk1s are split humbuckers (P-style). However, I could be wrong, and I have not had the gumption to open up anything and look. If you like the pickups, keep em.

In my Ibanez SR505, the Bart Mk1's are definitely humbucking of some kind. Not sure of the config under the pickup covers though.

Wow Thanks Guys!! such a quick response too! That's awesome to know because MTD's have the same split-coil design and I've liked what listened to from those as well.
