Bartolini vs aguilar pre amp

Having a dreadful time deciding between these two pre's (2 band) to use with single Bartolini soapbar. Ive scoured the net for a head to head on these two but have come up empty. The only thing i have to compare is EQ points. Bart is 40hz and 10 k and aguilar is at 30 & 6.5.

FWIW...i used to own an Aguilar 359 and a 659 and I thought the 30hz boost switch on that amp was the most beautiful thing ever

The low frequency point on the Aguilar is 40 Hz and the Bart is 30 Hz.

Either way there have to be at least hundreds of posts on TB about these preamps.
