Buzz with tapewounds

First time tapewound user. Since there is no contact with the string I have a small 60Hz buzz. (touch bridge it goes away). What can be done about this one?

I've done 2 things

Clamp a wire to the bridge and wrap it around my wrist, or if you have a metal mounting ring on your pickup (like my les paul triumph bass), I rest my pinky or thumb on it.

I don't know if their is a cure for the tape wound blues.

I wonder if an anti-static strap would work for this? I'll try it and report back.

Strapping your body to ground in a music situation can be very dangerous, I don't recommend it.

I use Bartolini pickups with nylon tapewounds (and metal strings) and get absolutely no hum or buzz.

Fix the grounding in the electronics. Something is wrong.
