| Yes! Just kidding.
Actually, I thought you were talking about fret buzz at first.
Anyway, buzzing (it's usually more of a "hum", but could be a "buzz") can be caused by pickups or cables, or your amp, or radio interference, or lack of shielding or... any number of things. Hum, or buzz, is often caused by a loose ground connection somewhere. Or, as I said, it can come from many different sources. If it's not too loud, and is drowned out when you play, you might just have to live with it - some equipment is just noisy. However, if it is loud, you most likely have a real problem and, possibly, an unsafe situation. If it's loud you should definitely have someone who is into electronics, or an electrical person, take a look. I've worked in electronics for over 25 years and can check most of this stuff myself. Some of it is pretty hard to find, though.
