Buzzing form new rickenbacker pickups

I have customized my fender Jazz. New pickups, rickenbacker and some new electronic; a switch choosing between running through the volume and tone or to another jack. I have soldered everything, ground and pickups, switch and new jack. the new jack and the old is fitted on the side of the bass and the switch runs through the hole where the jack went before.

The bass is currently working, but the pickups are buzzing every time I touch the metal frame around. Any idea of what it could be ?

It sounds like you have the hot and ground swapped, so the metal frame is now hot.

Try swapping the hot and ground wires from the pickup.
