Buzzing sound 101

After changing the battery in the pre amp and checking my chords to assure continuity, I still have a buzz sound. Where do you start when trouble shooting a buzz coming from the Amp? the one Bass that buzzes is my Lakland.

Does the amp buzz everywhere or just where it is now?

Is the Lakland shielded really well?

Has anything changed wiring wise or sound wise on the Lakland?

What kind of Lakland is it? My 55-01 buzzed like crazy until I did some extensive work on it.
