Exclamation Bypassing a BLEND in Series/Paralell Wiring

Sign in to disble this ad
I need a schematic, diagram, ect. on how to wire a series-parallel mod on a bass that uses a master/blend/eq wiring now. I know I need a 3PDT toggle for this mod, but I need some help wiring it.

I have searched and looked around TB for what I'm looking for, but unfortunately threads on this topic from a few years back no longer have their pictures/ schematics up.

See this thread had what I need, from post #7 on:
Wiring Diagram for Jazz Parallel/Series Config

Anyway does anyone have a schematic or diagram on this? OR can you tell me how to wire this mod, and have the blend control bypassed in series?

I would be interested in the same mod.

I already done the Series\Parallel mod using a Push/Pull DPDT switch on the neck volume pot.

I would like to swap the bridge volume for a blend pot

Thanks for the diagram. It is exactly what I was looking for. Now I need to get some parts

Does anyone know where I can find a 3PDT micro switch. It looks like Stewmac or Guitarparts dont carry them

Well, thank Lyle Caldwell too from the thread. He's the guy that made the diagram, it's really helpful.

Mouser or Digikey is where I'm getting mine... and everything else I need for the project at the same time.

Thanks Lyle, I gave you props in a thread I started about shielding my jazz using aluminum. I decided by popular demand that copper or shielding paint was better, So I decided to buy some at Stew Mac

Does anyone in the UK know where I can get the 3PDT switch needed for this circuit?

I've had a quick look on Google UK, but nothing's come up.

http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/esr/Switches.PDF

Third page down... or use the finder function and type "3pdt"

These aren't that uncommon?

Instead of using a 3PDT switch, are there any push/pull pots that have a switch that will work for this wiring?
