Bypassing mid pot on bart pre's..

So I got a couple basses that have the 3 band bart set up. I never boost nor do I want to have the option of turning it by mistake live. Could I just bypass the pot? Would it leave me at center detent/flat position? Thanks!

You could just wire in some resistors to permanently set the mid control flat.

Assuming a linear taper with the center detent being flat, you can replace the pot with two resistors, each equal to half of the pot's total resistance.
