I have bad year with cables, because after month or two they all gave up( I never steped on it and pull it).I tried cables from Klotz,Shulz...to Planet Waves.
In my country there is only Elixir,George L,Phil Jones and Fender cables wich are left to try.
So I bought a Fender premium gold cable for bass.
Cable box is incredibile as you can see on pictures.
Cable is one way( L jack for bass and straight jack for amp) little heavy and hard but is well made which count.
Sound wise is the best cable I tried and a must to try for any bassist.Compare it to other cables and you will hear what I mean.
Oh I forgot the best thing -its well priced,25€ for 3,6 meters.

If cables from multiple different brands are failing that quickly, it says to me that you are probably abusing your cables.

Belive me I am not abusing them.First friend has Planet Waves and he stepted on it many times so strog that he pluged it from guitar and after nearlly 5 years still works.
Other friend has Dimarzio for 10 years now and still works.
It looks I have bad carma that follows me around:
