Are you making your own pickups or something?

Usually the cover just sets down over the pickup, unless there on no visible pole pieces, in which case, a lot of times the pickup will be epoxy potted into the cover.

thank... I got my questioned answered already. I bought the DiMarzio's in the classifieds w/o pickup covers, and purchased pup covers somewhere else. I have installed pickups before, but not the actual pickup into the cover.

I thought that the covers on DiMarzio pickups could not be removed?
