Hey TB,

I want to get this:

for an experimental project I am doing. The only problem is that it has too many pots. Can I run the two vol and two tone pots together on one pot each, with a switch for which one I want to function (piezo or magnetic pup)?

so if we call Red hot, black grnd, and blue out, it would go

Both hot leads to a switch and then to 50k pot, both grnds to same pot location (middle), both outs to same pot location (outside).

I don't know much about how the board works on these kind of active electronics, so any advice is appreciated.

Now before you say it, I know that I could do stacked pots and I know that I could take out the tone pots, but I would prefer to do it with the switch. Is this possible?

Get you some push/pull pots? But really, does not that manufacturer have a contact address? I would ask them first. Complicated setup - WOW.

How is an extra switch better than an extra pot?

Furthermore, if you used a switch to select which pup the pot is controlling, you'd have to leave the uncontrolled pup either all the way up or all the way down.

Best solution as I see it is a stacked pot or a blend pot.
