Can I drop a P-46 into a Skyline 44-64?

Can anyone tell me if a Bill Lawrence P-46 will simply drop into a Lakland Skyline 44-64 without any routing?

Based on rave reviews, I have ordered a P-46 to try in place of the Neopunch in my 44-64. Of course, after ordering the pup I started seeing posts where folks said the P-46 won't fit into some basses without routing b/c the P-46 is too tall (thick).

Anyone have direct experience dropping a P-46 into a Glaub?

Wondering if I've ordered the wrong pup. I don't want to take a router to my bass!

Appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
