It's the old larger model.I have it wired Blend/Vol/Treble/Bass, the output is on the side of the body and there's a separate compartment for the two 9V batteries.
I want to have a bass pot with a push pull active/passive switch.
The problem is finding one that is shallow enough to fit into the cavity. There is a whole lot of spagetti underneath the tone knobs that cannot be eliminated easily and the preamp takes up the space underneath the blend and vol pots.I can't route out the cavity any any deeper. So I am looking for some kind of specialty pot(25k linear with a switch for a bypass of the preamp) that is about 1" deep.
Can you guys help me find that? |

That combine with the 6 pole push/pull switch doesn't seem to exist. so now I'm probably going to go with the vol pot push/ pull option. That is available from Bestbassgear. Now I need to find a different place for the preamp which is the old larger one, which is also seems to be glued into the cavity.
I don't know if I can even get it loose.I'm hesitant to pour Goof Off or some other type of solvent behind it because I don't want to damage the housing of the preamp and/or the copper shielding in the cavity.
Maybe I just abandon the thought and live with it the way it is. |
