Carvin SB5000 Electronics Picture

Can someone show me a picture of the electronics in an SB5000 or 4000 bass? I just bought an SB5000 and the stacked bass/treble does not work and the push/pull mid sweep seems to turn the bass on(out) snd off (in). I like the bass so if it is an easy fix I would keep it.

First, check the battery. The push/pull pot is an active/passive switch and the knob itself is a passive tone control. So when you pull the knob out you bypass the preamp (i.e. the bass & treble controls) and you're left with volume/volume/tone.

If you push the tone knob switch down and are getting no sound, the preamp is not getting power or is malfunctioning.

If you have a push/pull, then you don't have mid sweep. If you pull up on this knob, you are in passive mode so no treble and no bass. It becomes a passive tone knob. Like he said....
