changing pickups on a Lakland Daryl Jones 4 String ??

Hi,

I own a DJ4 and since I got it, this superb bass has become my main bass.

But, I am wondering if it is worth changing the pickups, like for Nordstrand, etc.

Any ideas, suggestions, let me know.

Is it worth it ?

I am looking to get a little more "beef" to the already excellent Tone out of that bass.

stick some SD QP's in it and never look back! The Nords aren't a big beefcake pickup like the QP's, they are more traditional sounding.
