Charvel Fusion V Wiring

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a stock Fusion V 5-string I recently acquired. So far after raising the action a lot it has a sound I have been looking for...one BIG issue - it eats batteries like Carter's Little Liver Pills. 10-30 minutes a new Duracell or Energize is gone and then no bass and I have to make an in-song axe switch-off which is rarely fun.

I have searched far and wide and cannot find a schematic for the wiring. Unless it was really crappy workmanship in the firstplace, it almost appears that the electronics have been re-wired by an beginning solderer at best. I need to make sure it is factory and go from there in troubleshooting it.

I really appreciate any assistance you can offer.

BTW on the Charvel Fusion V Bass

Even if you would be willing to post/send some detailed pics of the guts of your bass I think I can make a go from there...Thanks!

Check to see if the output jack is wired up right. If the battery wire is going to the wrong lug, it will leave the battery on all the time.
