 Cheap Bass Pickups?

New to the forum starter bass play pretty much names Kev i got a Bass with active electronics had a dog that didnt like it to well so now the pickups dont work which sucks so i want to rewire it it had active pickups but does anyone no where to get some cheaper active OR passive pickups would rather have passive and what all parts would i need besides

for we wring this new bass Oh and is soap bar double coil pickups on it its a V2A metal man by dean to and i will need a preamp for actives i know that but what about passives would i have to buy a preamp? thanks much |
