Check my wiring diagram?

I'm getting ready to wire up my modded jazz bass, and I want someone to check the diagram to make sure it's all done right. This bass is just going to have blend knob, so it's pretty simple, but more complicated than I had thought.

Here's the image I drew up:

Is that for a blend control?

This is less confusing:

Source A and B are the pickups.

Now this is important...

Set the pot to the center detent and measure the resistance with a multi-meter from the center lug to each outside lug. One side will read almost the full value of the pot, and the other will read close to zero ohms.

The side that reads higher goes to ground, and the side that reads near zero goes to hot.

Each deck on the pot will be opposite.

Yeah, that's what I figured. My next question is about grounding; in my Fenders, everything is just grounded to the pots; can I ground everything to just this one pot, or would that damage the parts?

I would run a wire from the blend to one of the other pots. If you do solder a wire to the blend, do it on the side.

There aren't going to be any other pots. I wire everything to the side of the blend then? I need the ground wire from the neck pickup, the ground from the bridge pickup, and the wire that runs to the bridge, right?
