Chi-Sonic pickup soon to come out in Bartolini shapes!

Sign in to disble this ad
I just talked to Bo Pirruccello at Hanson Pickups (the makers of Chi-Sonics for Lakland) about the possibility of getting Chi-Sonics in a Bartolini BC shape. He said:

"We are prototyping that very pickup right now. As soon as I order covers for them, I will be taking orders.
We will also be making LH3 humbuckers available in those covers as a replacement item."

VERY cool! Here's how these pickups sound in the Lakland Decade and Joe Osborn.

I'll give more information as I get it.

They're planning to make them in the 5-string Bartolini P2 shape as well.

Chi-Sonic single-coil pups vs. Nordstrand Big Splits tonally?

For those of you who know - how do Chi-Sonic single-coil pups compare with Nordstrand Big Splits tonally? I'm sure they don't sound the same, but how are they different? How are they similar?

Thanks!

If they do a P4 set, I'd be all over some.
