Chorus Pedal on Bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, today, I went out and bought a Fender Starcaster Chorus Pedal from Hastings. I thought it was pretty cool. It sounded like I was playing 80's pop songs! Do any of you guys use Chorus Pedals on bass?

Oh yeah, I have a Danelectro Black Licorice Pedal also, which is nice!

This question should be in the effects forum. But yes, I use a Chorus plus Flanger, Overdrive, Limiter, EQ, Evelope Filter, Compressor and Volume pedal.

How well do volume pedals work with bass? because I love the volume swells, and my friend taped his and his wah together and it was amazing

The volume pedal works great. I use it for some swells and adjusting my volume like a master volume. I would rather adjust volume after all effects so I can keep my full output from the pickups going into the effects, especially with distortion and the envelope filter. And swells sound great when using overdrive. I also use it as a kill switch. I want to get a second volume and modify it to be a tone pedal. Did that years back with a Dunlop and that worked well. Basically you solder in a cap just like the passive tone control in a bass.
