Chrome Chi-Sonics vs. Blackout Chi-Sonics

Hey everyone. Just wondering if there's any difference between the chrome Chi-Sonics and blackout Chi-Sonics in Lakland Decade basses. Do people have a preference for one over the other?

I beleive they're the same pickups, just different housings.

If the chrome is in front the magnetic field the tone should be different
