Hi. Frank.

The first photo doesn't show.

I'm not too familiar with onboard electronics as I prefer passives, but unless someone recognizes the circuit, Your best bet is to find the data sheet for the OP-amp and you'll easily identify what the blue dot is. It seems to be connected to ground by a capacitor so V+ would be my guess.

The circuit seems easy enough to be traced, so that would be a good idea if the pre is decent and You're interested in modding it.

Regards
Sam

can we see a shot of the other side of the board?

can we assume the pots are 2 volumes and 2 tones?

Hi.

^
Top left = balance
Low left = Vol

The potentiometers on the right on the foil side are the tone controls connected to the two individual amps in the OP-amp.

Hi.

Got the pic to show when typed, strange.

Seems like the classic case of concealing the OP-amp, but everything points to a TL072 pinout with a quick glance. That would make the blue dot the V+, the green dot the signal output, and the black next to the green the signal ground/switched V-.

Regards
Sam
