Question Coil split on EMG 35HZ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi to everyone. I was wondering, since the 35HZ models are double coil with 5 pin quick connect cable, just like the music man HZ replacement model, that maybe it's possible to install a coil splitter switch. I sent this question to EMG and recieved no answer. Anyone knows if it's possible? Thanks in advance.

dont worry. you will get a reply.
they have really good tech support. Ive never had any problems. I even bought a new (used) set of EMG's that had their wiring harness cut. I installed, but the still would work properly. So, I emailed them. The tech had me send them to them and he rewired and set up for and easy install. They didnt even charge me and it was a quick turn around.

What do you exactly want to do, Serial/parallel switching or coil cancel?
