Coil Switching Modulus Quantum 6

I’m looking for some general opinions/ experiences with a modification I’m considering. I have a Modulus Quantum 6 bass and am considering one of two coil switching options just for some additional tonal flexibility beyond just the 3 band EQ. I’m curious about which of the following two mods would result in greater (i.e., better) tonal flexibility for this bass with two dual coil Bartolinis and an NTMB active preamp:

(a) a 3-way switch per pickup that allows series/single coil/parallel

(b) one switch that allows outer coil/dual coil/inner coil switching (or one switch per pickup)

(c) other options??

I’m looking for real useable tone differences versus theoretically differences that are negligible to the point of not even being worth the upgrade, and just wanted to get some feedback before I proceed in either direction. Really appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Combine them with a 4-way Tele switch: bridge coil, both (series), both (parallel), neck coil.

But if you only wanted the 3-way, I'd vote for the first option, as you probably wont notice as much of a difference in each of the coils singly as you would in both in parallel or series.
