Coil tapping SD soaps (phase II SSB-5)

Sign in to disble this ad
Im planning on putting some passive soap bar pups in my bass and was wondering if it is possible to coil tap the SD passive phase II SSB-5 pups. Im going to use an aguilar 3 band preamp with the pickups. I might even go with some active soaps but the price is high and i dont think the extra preamp is needed. If you have any other suggestions on some modern sounding pups that can be coil tapped tell me.

Thanks
