Columbus jazz bass wiring

Hi , anyone got a wiring diagram for a columbus jazz bass ,it has 3 wires from the pickup , red white and black , when i got the bass it was missing the pots , i plan to use 500k pots any help would be great

One of the wires is probably a ground, and the other two will wire up like a regular Jazz pickup.

The problem is figuring out which is which.

Can you see where the wires go to on the pickup?
Unless its epoxy potted, you should be able to identify the two leads that go to the coil and the one that goes wherever else.

the white and white go onto the coil and the black to a metal under the coil

Two whites?
Or did you mean white and red?

Well, the black is definitely a ground then.

Follow standard Jazz bass wiring, and choose either the reds or the whites to be the hot wires, the blacks get grounded, and then the remaining wire also gets grounded.
