Check your work. You may have a bad solder joint, or a connection left open. line6man's diagram is spot on. I'd suggest going back through to be sure you didn't leave anything undone.
One other tip I can offer you: whenever you wire up an instrument, before you close up the control cavities or put pickguards, etc. back on, check to see if your connections are sound. You can do this by plugging your instrument in, turning the volume down low (but not off), and lightly touching the pickup polepieces with a screwdriver. You should hear the tapping coming through the amp. Do this on all selector switch settings, to make sure the switch is working properly, and do it again while fiddling with the tone control. That way, if something is wrong, you can correct it before you button everything up tight.
