| Then yes, they are excellent.
I recently got one installed in a bass, and beside some strange humming issue that doesn't change no matter what I do (shielding, no shielding; the grounding is perfect, no hiss or hum there- I emailed Fred Hammon about it, but haven't heard anything quite yet), the TONE of the pickup is like New-Vintage, with more booty than you could need, and an extended upper range that makes the notes very clear, pretty much all the time.
In conclusion, they are excellent. |
