This is the exact model that are in my Carvin SB5000. They are indeed very hot, and very powerful.
If you use them with an onboard preamp (as I do), you will want to make sure to carefully adjust the gain, lest you inadvertently overdrive the input stage of your amp head, rackmount preamp, DI, interface or mixing board - and thereby create all kinds of nasty distortion in your signal chain.
Likewise, you will need to carefully adjust the string height of your instrument, as the magnets in the JMVC 4 FE/M2 are powerful enough so that the magnetic field they generate will actually interfere with string vibration - unless the strings are set high enough to minimize that problem.
