Deluxe P bass bridge humbucker specs

Hey, so I'm curious about the bridge humbucker on the deluxe precision basses (as seen here http://www.talkbass.com/reviews/show...on-bass/cat/13 and here http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Fender-H...item5aee6755fd) but I can't find any specs. Anyone know what the magnets are (ceramic, alnico, etc), if they can be used for passive circuits, and if what the output is like (vintage, hot, etc.). Thanks.

I feel the magnets are Alnico as it's just rods, no magnet under.
It runs well in passive mode, bridge side the output balance well with vintage P pickup.

For the price should have a try.

Thanks, that's interesting. The view of the underside was helpful. That's exactly how I imagined it was made.

Thanks,

Chris
