| Dimarzio Pups with OBP-1

Hey all I'm building my second "custom" parts bass. I am a big fan of the Dimarzio Model P and J pups and have used them in various basses throughout the years. However this will be my first time mating them to a pre-amp of any sort. I am seriously leaning towards the OBP-1 as it is comparable to the Spector Tonepump and I like how that works. Has anyone done this combo and if so how do you like it? What can I expect? I am also going to put in a series paralell switch for the P. I searched and got a lot of info but nothing specific. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I'm putting more emphasis on right-hand rhythm than left-hand notes. Simpler lines played to a stronger groove.
