DiMarzio Ultra Jazz good for P/J bridge pup?

I'm considering adding a J pickup to my P-bass. The Ultra Jazz looks like a good value and is hum cancelling which is a plus. Anyone have opinions about this pickup in this application? Do you think it would have enough output to balance with the P? The other pup is a squire P (don't laugh it actually sounds OK!)

I have 2 ultra-jazz's in my Fernandes Frankenstein. About all I can say is I like the sound of them alot, but that's always a personal preference type thing. Since putting them in I haven't touched my stock SX. These ultra-jazz's with DA Chrome Flats seem to offer good jazz sound (to me) as well as good 'thump' on the neck pickup.

Beyond that... :: shrug ::

It really depends on what tone you're going for. If you like the pushed-mids soloed bridge tone, I'd go with Model J's. UJs have more low and top end, with slightly scooped mids, IME.
