Dimarzio Ultra Jazz wiring

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, I'm about to add a series/parallel switch for the pickups, and have lost the little slip of paper that came with them that showed all the wiring options. The Dimarzio website just tells to solder the black and white leads together for series mode, which is how it is now.

So, in parallel, which one goes to ground? Black or white?

For parallel both blacks go to ground. The two white leads are hot and they get wired together.

What does adding a series/parallel switch do?
