DiMarzio Will Power Middle - active or passive ???

i'm going to change pickups on my Ibanez Roadbass 808 fretless ... it's an active bass ... i think i'll get DiMarzio Will Power Middle, are they passive or active??? i can't find this information anywhere...
anyway ... any opinion about them???

The pickup is passive, most pickups are passive.

Active basses tend to be passive pickups but with a preamp which requires power.

This isn't always the case tho. (ie, some EMG pickups are active).

To my knowledge, DiMarzio has never produced anything active.

Furthermore (assuming this is a Billy Sheehan model) Billy Sheehan only uses passive basses, i thought i read somewhere that he only owns one active bass.

Passive all the way. Of course Billy runs each pickup through a different amp and messes with the signal that way.
