DiMarzios In A Jazz Plus V?

Has anyone tried putting a set of DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups in a Fender Jazz Plus V (early 90's rear-routed Jazz with active electronics). I checked the dimensions on the bestbassgear.com web site and it looks like they'll fit. I'm wondering how they'll sound and if they'll work well with the pre.

The DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups came in the mail today. For what it's worth they fit fine in the Jazz Plus V and sound great. Best of all they're nice and quiet.
