Discovering vol pot ohms without removing pick guard possible?

Is there a simple way I'm missing to discover the R value of my volume pot without removing the scratch guard? I ask because I have an OPB-3 tucked away very neatly in there and I don't want to tangle it all getting the guard on and off just to discover the pot's R value if there is an easier way....
