Distance from 12th fret to Fender P-bass pickup

I've scaled some pictures, and it looks like about 11 3/4" from the 12th fret to where the split coils touch each other.

Is that about right?

Thanks.

Sounds about right. I've got a measurement of 10 1/2" to the face of the neck half I took off a Fender P bass.

Bgavins used to have a musician's reference sheet listed in FAQ of the luthier forum but they've changed it. Probably if you put up a search for my name and Bgavin's musician reference sheet you'll find a response someone gave me inquiring about it's current whereabouts. It has a bunch of standard pup measurements. That post should be in the luthier forum.
