DIY onboard preamp scematics

Sign in to disble this ad
Let me start off with the fact that ive got a crappy, ol squire p bass that i learnt on and now just collects dust. The tone pot and volume pot are about nackered as well as the neck so i want to turn this into a project. Does anyone have any schematics or just some tips on how to make a dual output preamp for this.

Ill be really grateful for any advice what so ever.

Jack Orman's Mosfet Boost works well in my EUB. He sells good quality PC boards if you don't want to make your own.
His MiniBooster is also very good, not quite as 'hifi' but with a few more options for modifying its sound.

Do a Google search for 'onboard preamp schematic'. You get thousands of results.
