There are tons of threads on here, just search the correctly spelled name: Dimarzio.

Got a set of 127's in my pbass. They totally changed my sound. More full than before.

I have them in a MIM Fender P Bass. Love them. My band approves too. Lots of depth in sound.

Dimarzio P and J was standard in my 80's Maton JB4 (legendary Australian bass). This axe is starting to get a bit collectable now, so I was reluctant to change anything. I really tried to like the P, but after 6 or 7 gigs, I had to swap it out. I tried it with a couple of preamps, and also passive, but I just couldn't get past that strong mid-range. And my rig is pretty scooped, really. I'm not sure if they've changed the design, as this is an original, but boy it was almost ringing at that resonant peak. Wiring it its coils in parallel seemed to help, and it also blended much better with the J (still wired in series), but I've changed it. It's a well made pickup (hey, mine is 30 years old!), but not my cup of tea, I'm afraid.
