Do active and passive P/U's require different blend pot?

I'm definitely not new to wiring of pickups, however most of my experience comes from passive's. I've just bought a set of EMG 40DC's to replace my stock ESP P/U's in my ESP LTD F-5E. The current control setup on the F-5E is master volume and blend with a 3-band active EQ. I'd prefer to keep the current control setup with the EQ. I know I need to replace the master volume pot for sure and that's fine. However, I'm not sure if the blend pot will work with these pickups. I can't tell you the exact value of the pot right, but my big question is do passive and active P/U's also require different value blend pots? Thanks in advance for any input.

Active pickups have a lower impedance output than passive pickups, so they need a lower value pot to properly control their volume.

You will need a 25K or 50K blend for active pickups.
