Hey guys, I'm taking my first foray into building a bass from scratch and just have a quick question. When I order pickups, do they come with the needed pots or do I order them seperately? |

250k pots will be fine for passive J pups. |

| | | | I'll be installing dimarzio dp123's, which humbuck by have each of two coils serve two strings. Not sure what effect that will be on overall treble, and wondering if a 500k tone pot (and what value cap?) is in order. In fact, I'll be getting three new pots, all push/pulls, for series/parallel (per pickup) & phase switching.
I dont have the bass yet (ordered a fretless sx jbass knockoff) so I'm sure what's in there now ...
